How do I get rid of cigar smoke?

The other day I soaked in my jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and when I was in there I smoked a cigar. I had the exhaust fan on, and the door closed, so I didn’t think the smell would go in the house. But now I realize my entire house smells horrible.
How can I get rid of the smell? Do I have to have the entire house repainted?
No, you don’t need to repaint. Open all of the windows and doors. Then, go get a spray like Febreze and spray all the fabrics. Keep airing out the house and spraying the carpets and fabrics which smell. It will eventually go away. And the next time you think of smoking, remember how hard it was to get all of the smell out of your house and imagine what your lungs retain if your house retains just second hand smoke.
Several bottles of Febreeze. It really works
Open all the doors and windows, spray the entire house w/Fabreeze, wash all of your curtains, blankets, etc…., cook something w/LOTs of garlic… I’m sure eventually the smell will go away…but as an ex-smoker who can’t stand the smell anymore…I can only imagine how nasty it must smell! Good Luck
No, you shouldn’t. You need to use a good air freshener like Oust or Febreeze. Spray each room well and if you want, get the Febreeze that you can spray onto fabrics and spray your curtains, furniture, carpet, etc. If you can open doors and windows for a period of time, that will also help. Cigar smoke does stink doesn’t it.
