   who’s this guy they call bob cock? had the good fortune of seeing les 4 times incl. twice at his new years eve show at the filmore in sf. great shows all. first concert I took my daughter too was seattle for the the purple onion tour. she liked him but liked mirv better, oh well she dug it!

   I personally think all this fighting is pointless, Primus, Pink Floyd, and the Foo Fighters are all different bands with different takes on Pink Floyd’s own song. They’re different, and I like them all, and like all 3 bands.

   Yuck. This just sounds like a bad cover. The Foos did their own thing with the song, so it didn’t sound like a bar band covering it.

    Agree completely here. While I do like the Foo Fighters and even their cover of this song, I have to say that Primus’s is better. This version puts a new and interesting spin on the song whilst holding true to the original overall.

    yeah and the playing on this version is just phenomenal, for cover songs i always thought the red hot chili peppers were real good at making the song their own, Higher ground being a great example
