For Cigar, Cognac probably goes the best. You can get some French Cognac at local liquor store for $20-40, like Remy Martin or Camus. If you get a really good cigar, like a good Dominican Republic or even a Cuban, you should try the top of the line Cognac like Remy Martin XO or Hennesey XO (both at least $100).
You can also try Port – at least a Tawny Port and possible a Vintage Port (try Sandeman $25 or Heitz $25); big Cabernet from California like Stags Leaps Fay( $50), Silver Oak Alexander Valley ($60) or even Insignia ($150), Caymus Special Selection ($125).
A good port wine is great with a cigar after dinner.
Try a good cabernet or merlot. Ask your local, friendly wine merchant to recommend some. Try McManis Cabernet – very nice and priced reasonably.
Anything from South Africa or Australia may be a good option.
Try bourbon or brandy. This goes well with a cigar. For wines, try the Merlot by Jadot.
Port and cigars! Mmmmm-hmmm!
Try Insomnia Port, Troon Vineyard
