When the humans returned to the Navi world! With sword and shield in hand! (Figure of speech) Dropping marine pods on the native lands, with thousands of soldiers. with war Mechs burning the disease from the ground to ensure no more hope to the Navi people. while rich Business men smoke cigar’s on the sweet, sweet ash. They soon learn to accept the human corruption, or face total damnation (meaning there gonna burn with there forrest!) Humans colonies landing upon the ground while they suck the very life out of the planet! The Humans claimed another victim… Lets share a Cigar ;D
In my opinion if we humans clone are food and are able to produce are own air with machines. Why do we need any other organisms? We would not need to depend on them! and we would BURN them and grow are empire!
My, you picture such a cheerful sequel! Could happen, though. As to why we would choose to slaughter organisms instead of cloning meat… the answer is ease and cost. We have the ability *right now* to grow meat (muscle tissue) in a laboratory. The problem? It would take a millionaire to buy a burger. They said as much in the movie, too. You did see tanks growing tailored Navi avatars, but if you listen to the dialog they’re discussing how many millions it took to do that. It’s an interesting exercise in biology, but not the basis for a food economy.
It’s a cold, hard, ugly fact that the only way for humans to survive is to kill – either animals, plants or both. All we can hope is that we do so wisely and not wastefully. (Aren’t you glad you asked?)
